No. Simple1040 produces a print-ready Form 1040 PDF that you sign and mail to the IRS yourself. We do not transmit any return to the IRS.

What tax situations does Simple1040 support?

Simple1040 supports W-2 wages, 1099-INT interest, 1099-DIV dividends, SSA-1099 Social Security, and 1099-G unemployment, with the standard deduction, for filers who are Single or Married Filing Jointly. We support tax years 2023, 2024, and 2025.
